Public Health is dedicated to protecting and improving the health and well-being of residents across Liberty County. Public Health works with individuals, families, schools, healthcare providers, and community partners to promote healthy lifestyles, prevent disease, and support safe environments for people of all ages.

Located in the Senior Center our office provides essential Public Health services designed to meet the needs of our rural community. Liberty County Public Health focuses on prevention, education, and early intervention to help residents live healthier lives.

What We Do

Our department provides a range of community health services, including:

• Immunizations and vaccine services

• Communicable disease prevention and response

• Blood pressure checks and medication administration

• Health education and injury prevention programs

• Community outreach and health assessments

• Support services for individuals and families across the lifespan
